This delicious Honey Walnut Shrimp features crispy shrimp coated in a sweet and creamy sauce made from mayo, condensed milk, and lemon juice, topped with candied walnuts, making it a delightful dish without the typical broccoli found in restaurants.
Make the sweet & creamy sauce. Add mayonnaise, condensed milk, lemon juice, and honey in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add peeled shrimps. Season with salt & white pepper to give it a base flavor.
Pour in half a beaten egg and 2 tbsp of cornstarch to make the wet batter. Mix well. Coat each shrimp with cornstarch & set aside.
Heat up a pot of oil to 350F. Carefully place each shrimp into the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes until golden yellow. Remove the shrimps.
Reheat the oil to 400F. Add the shrimp back into the oil to double fry, which makes them extra crispy. Remove & set aside.
In a saucepan, pour in the sauce & let it simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add shrimp & candied walnuts. Toss until everything is well combined.
 Serve & enjoy!
