A delicious squid stir fry featuring tender squid, colorful vegetables, and a flavorful sauce. Perfectly cooked, this dish is enhanced with ginger, garlic, and a touch of fermented black beans.
Clean squid. Cut open the squid & score the inside like a checkerboard (so it’ll curl up). Cut it into small pieces. Blanch for about 2 minutes.
Once you see the squid curls up, strain & set aside. Note: do not overcook it because the squid will be tough.
Cut red bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger.
Lightly stir fry the red bell peppers, and set aside.
Fry ginger, garlic, and fermented black beans until fragrant.
Add onions, red bell peppers, and squid. Stir fry. Add Shaoxing wine.
Cover and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add pre-mixed sauce & scallions. Stir fry it until well combined.
 Serve & enjoy!
